- LG Versa: Released by LG Electronics late this year, LG Versa is a stylish touch screen phone which can be personalized through additional modules. The main feature, which is the phone’s namesake, is its intuitive QWERTY user interface that can be used if the phone is turned inside out. It has an HTML browser, a 2.0 megapixel camera, GPS and even has music playing capabilities. However, the major drawback in the LG Versa is its slow web browsing ability and, more importantly, the lack of Wi-Fi capabilities. Nonetheless, the versatility of the phone and its many possibilities for personalization is a good enough reason to get you one.
- LG Renoir: LG Renoir has been known for being reminiscent of LG Prada, the first touch screen phone ever. Renoir’s glass look exudes an elegant air. However, the Renoir’s best feature is the built-in camera, which boasts of an 8.0 megapixel lens equipped with a high end Xenon flash. The camera also has other features such as smile detection, face detection and blink detection tools which enable users to program the device to respond accordingly in cases of closed eyes, and other types of spoilers in a shot. The phone is an HTC touch GSM Quad unit, fit for global roaming. The phone also has the Dolby Mobile Software programmed into each unit, which makes listening to music a wonderful experience. In terms of connectivity, however, LG Renoir somewhat falls behind. It only has the basic touch screen Wi-Fi, WAP 2.0 and other core features. Another large drawback of the LG Renoir is its low touch-sensitivity.
- LG Chocolate BL40: This phone is another addition to LG’s Black Label line. The phone’s slim build is home to many features, like a large 4 inch LCD touch screen. Its 5.0 megapixel camera cannot easily be dismissed as mediocre. Its memory can be expanded up to 32 GB, and has video MMS and an efficient user interface similar to the PDA phone. The touch screen headset is compatible with a 3.5 mm jack plug. The big downside, however, is the phone’s limited battery charge time.
- LG CU920 Vu TV: If you are looking for a touch screen phone minus the complex, unnecessary, and mind-boggling features, you can try LG’S Vu TV. It functions like a Smartphone without a mobile operating system. The best feature of this phone is the fact that it is a TV phone, first and foremost. It downloads the video while you watch it streaming, and has a good signal interceptor which lets you watch shows as smoothly as on a regular television. It is equipped with Wi-Fi and other basic connectivity tools. However, the touch screen is not precise which means that you may end up clicking a tab accidentally because of its weak touch response and pesky touch screen.
